HourTracker Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 8, 2026

HourTracker is a personal work-hour tracking and salary estimation app provided by Kuat Coding Lab. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and how users can request deletion of their data.

Information You Provide

HourTracker may store information that you enter into the app, including your display name, language settings, theme settings, hourly or daily pay settings, work dates, start and end times, break times, overtime settings, notes, and salary estimate records.

Google Sign-In and Cloud Sync

Google Sign-In is optional. If you choose to sign in, HourTracker uses Firebase Authentication to verify your Google account. The app may receive basic Google account information such as your name, email address, and profile photo.

If cloud sync is enabled, your HourTracker settings and work records may be stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore under your signed-in account identifier. This allows your data to be restored or synced across devices.

Local Storage

HourTracker primarily stores your records and settings on your device using local app storage. Removing the app, clearing app data, or changing devices may remove local data from the device unless cloud sync or backup has been used.

Backups, Exports, and Sharing

HourTracker may allow you to create JSON backups, CSV exports, or sharing text. These actions happen only when you choose them. Any file, text, or message you export or share is handled by the apps, services, or people you choose to share it with.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to:

Advertising

HourTracker may show ads using Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect and process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, app activity, approximate location, IP address, and other technical data to show ads, limit ad frequency, measure ad performance, detect fraud and abuse, and improve advertising services.

AdMob may use this information for personalized or non-personalized ads depending on user settings, consent choices, region, and applicable law.

HourTracker does not sell your personal information. Advertising data may be processed by Google according to Google's own privacy policy and advertising policies.

Sharing With Third Parties

HourTracker does not sell your personal information.

HourTracker uses Google services, including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Firestore, and Google AdMob. These services may process data to provide sign-in, optional cloud sync, advertising, analytics related to ads, fraud prevention, and service improvement.

Google may process data according to Google's own privacy policy.

Data Retention And Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, replace it, clear the app data, or uninstall the app.

Cloud data remains in Firebase while you use cloud sync. You may request deletion of your cloud data by contacting Kuat Coding Lab at:

Quwat.jumagulov@gmail.com

If account deletion or cloud data deletion is requested, HourTracker will delete the cloud data associated with your signed-in account, unless retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate security or legal reasons.

Children

HourTracker is not directed to children under 13. The app is intended for personal work-hour tracking and salary estimation by users who manage their own work schedule and salary estimates.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect synced data, but no method of storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

Changes To This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when app features or data practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be changed when updates are made.
